Introduction Web Base SCAD (WWW) Technology

The SCADA is Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System. These systems will acquisition data and controls to the devices remotely. All the data from acquisition, it will be passed to HMI/MMI for presentation. The HMI/MMI is used to display the remote locations schematic, display alarms, display trends and generating the reports.
The SCADA systems can be integrated with web technology in a couple different ways. Any client who is in the network can access the Web SCADA through Web server using the HTML browsers. The browser that supports HTML rendering can be used to browse the SCADA system.SCADA server can send email messages or reports to the specified users.Browser is independent of platform and can be viewed the SCADA information on any OS or machine platform. For security reasons, the webserver can be enabled through HTTPS protocol.

Advantages of Web Based SCADA:
Can be login systems from any where in the world
Browser software support, No need installation of client software
Platform independent clients
Can be viewed by any body that is authorized.
End-to-End security is available through HTTPS (from web browser to Web server)

Video cameras surveillance
Today CCTV is very quickly becoming an integral part of industrial automation control.
